"The unit was easy to install but I am a contractor and very good with my hands. The tough part was not knowing the hardness of my water and the amount of iron in it so I hired a local well driller and pump company ($80.00) to come and test my water and set the timer so the softener would regenerate when it was supposed to. I am using much less salt with this new system but the water is softer than ever. The well man said that this is a very good unit. I estimate I saved about 40% of the cost of having someone install it for me. Thanks AffordableWater.us"
