"All I can say is that this product is awesome! We had a 21 year old General Ionics unit which served us faithfully until it became impossible to get parts for it. We suffered with hard water for about a year and when I finally found this product I purchased it. What I was most impressed with was how easy installation of the unit was and the simplicity of the unit's operating mechanism. I opted for the mechanical timer for technical reasons, and the dual stage softener is a great idea... soft water all the time. My wife is extremely happy with this unit as it keeps the water soft, making cleaning the bath and shower easy, eliminates the film and spotting on pots, pans and dishes and makes the our cloths cleaner. "People always say "Motivation is great but it doesn't last." I just tell them, bathing does not last either, that is why I recommend it daily."
