Note, your daily capacity used multiplied times three should not exceed two thirds of the total system capacity for a meter to be efficient. EXAMPLE: You use 1000 gallons per day and your hardness is 25 grains. Your daily capacity requirement is 25,000 grains. Multiply 25,000 x 3 for a total of 75,000 grains required in three days. The minimum sized metered system should be 112,000 grains total.
