• This system can be used on waters with moderate hardness up to 10 GPG, depending upon the sulfate and carbonate concentrations. Higher hardness waters require a softener prior to the tannin removal step.

• This is not a water softener.
• Deduct the brine tank only if you have an existing water softener that has the same salt dosage. Regeneration times must be staggered by at least two hours.
• This system must be regenerated with a minimum of 10 lbs NaCl per cubic foot. If color bleeds after regeneration either the frequency or the salt level should be increased.
